Background

Dr. Watcharee Arunsodsai is Assistant Professor in the Department of Tropical Pediatrics. She is involved in research at the department and teaching at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine. She received her M.D. and Board of Pediatrics from Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University. Then she received her Ph.D. in Infectious and Tropical Diseases from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, London, United Kingdom.

Dr. Watcharee’s expertise ranges from malarial molecular biology, oral rehydration therapy, parasitic infections, bacteria, virus, to antibiotic resistance. She is highly experienced in conducting antimalarial clinical trials and other vaccine trials for pediatric infectious diseases.
