Background

Dr. Pannamthip is Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Environmental Medicine. She obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand, and completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University. She carries out both teaching and research; in both cases focusing on the production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against Dengue virus

Research

Dr. Pannamthip research specialization is production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against dengue virus. Her research includes use of genetic engineering to enhance the activity of therapeutic antibody and optimizing the production yield of recombinant IgG expressed in mammalian cell for further large scale production. She is also interested in developing improved diagnostic tools for tuberculosis.
