Background

Dr. Suchada Sumruayphol is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Entomology. She has a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Kasetsart University. She received her M.Sc. in Appropriate Technology for Resources and Environmental Development and Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine from Mahidol University. She teaches students from the Diploma, M.Sc. and Ph.D. courses at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine in the topics related to medical entomology.

Dr. Suchada’s research expertise include taxonomy, geometric morphometrics, vector ecology, vector biology, and molecular biology. She has an extensive experience in application of geometric morphometrics and molecular biology to identify insect vectors in Thailand.
