Dr. Kraichat is Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Environmental Medicine. He received his B.Sc. in Statistics from Chiangmai University, M.Sc. in Technology of Environmental Management from Mahidol University, and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. He holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace awarded by ITC-ILO and Torino University, Italy. He is involved in both teaching and research. He teaches students from the Diploma, M.Sc. and Ph.D. courses at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine.



Dr. Kraichat is a nationally-recognized expert on environmental health management and health impact assessment. He is especially interested in evaluating the impact of climate change to human and environmental health. His research expertise covers occupational health, health risk assessment, air pollution and health impact assessment, and environmental modeling. He is widely experienced in application of computer modeling for environmental health management. He has contributed to research and academic work in Asia countries and established strong connections to international agencies, various Thai governmental organizations and state enterprise.
