ที่มาและความสำคัญ : ความร่วมมือของคณะเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อน มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ต่อองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ(WHO)
Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Clinical Management of Malaria in collaboration with the World Health Organization Regional Office for South East Asia (WHO SEARO) organized 18th Virtual International Training Course on Management of Malaria on 23 – 27 November 2020. For this year, the training was held on online platform via Zoom Application. This training includes online multimedia presentation, online case discussion and experience sharing sessions between experts from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
The training aims to provide and update the participants about malaria current situation, diagnosis, treatment, management, prevention and control as well as sharing experiences among respective countries. There were 61 distinguished physicians, scientists and health experts from 12 respective countries attended the training virtually including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Maldives, Timor-Leste, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Thailand.

ข้อสรุปที่ได้จากงานสัมมนา(ถ้ามี) : การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านมาลาเรีย การได้ข้อมูลที่ทัยสมัย เกี่ยวกับการรักษา ตัวยา พฤติกรรมของคน และอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยมาลาเรียน การป้องกัน การกำจัดเชื้อมาลาเรีย
ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้จากการจัดงาน(ถ้ามี) : เพิ่มความสามารถในการวิจัย และความรู้ประสบการณ์ทางวิชาการ การขยายงานวิจัย
