Office of International Cooperation, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University conducted a study visit for 6 students from the Department of Community and Global Health, Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo during 26 February – 8 March 2013.

This study visit consisted of lectures on important tropical diseases, clinical and laboratory diagnosis for tropical diseases, and case presentations. The students also spent other 3 days for clinical experiences at Sawan Pracharak Hospital, Nakhon Sawan province. In this regard, Professor Dr. Masamine Jimba, Professor and Chair, Department of Community and Global Health, Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo , the students who were studying at Mahidol University,  Japannese engineering students from AIT, and students of Faculty of Tropical Medicine who visited University of Tokyo in February 2013 had also participated in the review and discussion meeting on 8 March 2013 at Lecture room 508, 5^th floor, Chamlong Harinasuta building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
