Pathogens and Animal Toxins Act

The pathogens and animal toxins act had been implemented since 1982 (B.E. 2525). However, during the past few years, under the Pathogens and Animal Toxins Act Committee, this regulatory policy was revised in 2015 (Pathogens and Animal Toxins Act [Thai] [Eng]). Currently, these are the latest updates of the Pathogens and Animal Toxins Act. The classifications of pathogen control have been adopted by Risk Group (RG) into 4 different groups, whereas the animal toxins were classified into 3 groups. This act covered the completed criteria, procedures and conditions for import, export, sale, transit or possession of the pathogens and animal toxins.
